There is a great deal of local and county news that is being covered and shared on the Escambia County public records web site that the Clerk of Court oversees and updates constantly that is meant to keep those who live in Escambia County, the state of Florida and anyone interested enough to click on a few hyperlinks updated on the local and county goings on as far as the county laws are concerned. Now to some people this might not seem like a lot; but to others it actually means a great deal.
There really is no way to know when you are going to be looking for something that is just the basic information with regards to how the county government is run or what the taxes will be for the current year on your hose and property; or whether you are going to need to find out how a particular law or ruling has come to be. This is a pretty simple way to keep up with the local legal information so that you can stay connected to the workings of your own county’s government and will be able to have the specific information available to you should you have questions about something that you have seen and/or read that pertains to the county and its government.
Are you aware that it was mandated by Florida state law that the Escambia County public records were to put up on the Internet no later than the end of 2007 to allow the general public the access that has been requested for many years since the Internet became known as “The Information Super Highway”? Many people are not really aware of this fact, yet it is written as plain as day right at the top of the Clerk of Court’s web page that this is the case. This has been done so that anyone residing in Escambia County or wanting to find out this very useful and sometimes necessary information could do so via the Internet.
There are a good many more very interesting and useful links to different reports and articles that pertain to the way that Escambia County is governed and what goes into such important matters as the County Budget for the current and following Fiscal years.
